SHELDON’S STORY. . .
Sheldon Troness has a passion for
hiking. In 2012, after he started having
problemswalkinghewent tohis doctor
and was told he had bone cancer. This
did not stop Sheldon from living his
life to the fullest. Sheldon decided to
receive cancer treatments at the Big
Horn Basin Regional Cancer Center.
According to Sheldon he is now four
years past his “expiration date.”
At the Big Horn Basin Regional Cancer
Center, we are committed to you, your
treatment,andthemeaningandquality
you find in your life. The physicians and
the staff work as a team, supporting
the philosophy of integrative care and
the positive impact it can have on the
lives of patients.
“I know people aren’t supposed to like
infusions and stuff like that, but I enjoy
going in just because of the people. It’s
important to have goals. You need to
have an incentive to go out there and
start living again. My goal was to walk
5,000 miles and without the staff at
the Big Horn Basin Cancer Treatment
Center I could not have achieved this.”
